PCR plastic is made from plastic products that have already been used by consumers, collected, sorted, cleaned, and reprocessed into recycled resin for new applications.

At 30–50% PCR the difference is minimal — most consumers won’t notice. At 70–100% PCR a subtle natural grey-green tint may appear, which many brands embrace as an authentic recycled aesthetic. If you need a pristine look, we can mask the tint with custom masterbatch coloring to match any Pantone brand color.
No. When properly formulated and tested, PCR performs identically to virgin plastic in safety and function. Our PCR materials are cosmetic-grade, and we run compatibility and migration testing for each formulation to confirm no interaction with your product. At 70–100% content you may see a slight natural tint, but durability, barrier properties, and performance are fully maintained.
Yes. Gidea PAC holds GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification. With every order we provide a GRS Transaction Certificate (TC) verifying the exact PCR content and material origin, plus full chain-of-custody traceability. We also supply compliance support for EU PPWR and other regional regulations, so your brand can back its sustainability claims with auditable proof.
PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) is made from plastic consumers have used and discarded. OBP (Ocean Bound Plastic) is recovered from coastal areas at risk of entering the ocean. Bio-based plastic is made from renewable plants (e.g., sugarcane), not recycled waste. All three cut virgin plastic, but PCR and OBP divert existing waste while bio-based uses new plant feedstock.
